Volvos have that negative connoctation for some reason. I drove my SILs red '82 4 cyl wagon around Sydney for a while,..and especially at night I got heckled at lights etc. They then bought an '86 V6 wagon,..fuckin' hell what a POS. It had split steering rack boots, switches that fell apart in the dash, woeful handling, but very good brakes. Eventually it spat out a fuel-pump>>$800 big ones thanx. My BIL offered the car to me for $800,..I declined, I was just not that dirty on myself ! :-) Jason
