I've only ever made one claim, for a vehicle theft, and that was with AAMI
and their response was excellent. I'd have no problems in recommending them
to anyone.

So once again, what are they?? And why aren't their customers being told?

Should be attractive to people with a lunatic bent to their driving. All
they need to do is discpline themselves for a few years (or just not
actually drive), and then they can let rip secure in the knowledge that
someone else is paying most of the cost.

Are you a customer?
If not I suggest you fid a long term non claimant and ask him what
benefits he gets.

I'd suggest that AAMI are letting those customers know about benefits
when renewal comes around..If you are not in the above bracket you
will not be party to such information.

Two are listed in my original post as examples. I'd guess they're telling
at least all 'preserved for life rating 1' customers as well as those who
come under the new additional categories. It's all outlined in the terms &
conditions booklet that you get with your renewal and at least *used to*
get if you got a quote from them - don't know if you still do, but quite
likely.
