Not at all you didnt even undertsand what a correction factor was or is.

No it means on any DYNO rint out that its corrected to whatever correction
factor it is using which is also stated.

Eh?

Exactly. Working for a motor manufacturer, I regularly see our engines
on the engine dynos. As an example, one of our engines is officially
rated at a corrected 300bhp SAE, but I've never seen one on the bench
that throws out less than 310bhp.

Despite never seeing the same figures twice on the bench, once the
correction factor is applied it's always 300bhp +-1bhp.

Its not "theory" and works perfectly in practice.

Rubbish they correct to a standardised sea level standard pressure and
temperature to make direct comparrison possible.

No they are not. And whats more if you think so then you simply look at the
CF: 0.00234 or whatever and see at what pressure and temp it was during the
run. I have never yet seen one thats more than 2 percent either way at the
extremes so if it is then something is obviously suspect.

Do you really think anyone reading this thinks anything but you are a fool?

Thanks for all the posts, but your ranting barely reached a 1/10.

Was nice of you to play, but it's all a bit pointless unless the
respondent gets shouty and sweary.

I can't be arsed anymore.

Still, it filled a bit of 'downtime' whilst waiting for files to load
from the network drive.
