From: Tim Downie on 28 Apr 2010 05:50 Has anyone here any experience of stripping a VW Touran door lining to access a central locking solenoid? I have an 06 reg car and out of all the solenoids, it has to be the drivers door one that has started sticking occasionally. The obvious place to start is at the three screws right at the bottom of the door lining but I was wondering if there are any "gotchas" or basic priciples of removing a door lining before I start cursing at hidden retaining clips etc. As far as I can see there are no other concealed screws, just the three at the bottom but I'm sure there will be hidden clips somewhere. Any advice? Tim

(At which point a printer's useful)
