Since Ray's obviously finding it interesting and informative, then if the option's there, and there's time, I think I'd stick with it to fill the gap - but I'd imagine that the funding would be pulled. It may be an option to pay to continue to do it.

Basic pay at Grade 8 is �30000, plus the london weighting, shift work, working bank holdays etc - should be around �40000. I have spoken to the control room staff who say with a bit of overtime and rest day working, �50000 is achievable.
