Yep.. there's a lot of crazies that ride bikes in Portland.
Mostly they don't stop for red lights and stop signs either.. some get
squashed.

Things get a bit difficult for the older ones though.. 80 year olds
chugging uphill to Oswego in December gets a bit hairy.

Biking is super-dangerous and it's not fair to expect people to do
it. The way to save gas is to penalize those who drive big vehicles
and also lower speed limits and drastically raise penalties for
speeding.
