My mk 4 golf had had a f ew false alarms this week. No break in attempt it
was just sat on the drive, in sight of my eyeline.

Very off as it never goes off randomly.

The weather was fine, new-ish battery.

Has me stumped.

A Corroded bonnet sensor is a favourite culprit on many cars.
