Charles Swiney, a police state trooper said that two children had survived the crash. A pastor that was in the van said that they were Mennonites and on their way to a wedding in Iowa. The truck driver who was from Alabama was also killed in the wreck. According to officials, the tractor trailer crossed over the median and struck the van head on around 5:30 a.m. in Munfordville, about 75 miles from Louisville. -------------------- He was prolly drunk or playing on a cell or fell asleep. Truckers don't care cause they figure in a crash, they'll be ok. Didn't work that way this time.

Didn't work > that way this time. > > Way to stop this is to have much much stiffer penalties for tractor- trailer drivers since they are driving a much more dangerous vehicle. For example, DWI for a trucker should be permanent loss of drivers license. Not just his trucker license, i mean never again allowed to drive any motor vehicle on public roads. Same with doing 15+ over the speed limit.
