Maybe now that a few bricks have been dislodged, "they" will make this sort

I reckon that driving after having drunk more than a certain (relatively
small) amount of alcohol should be illegal.

There ought to be a law against that.

I wonder how the police caught him, maybe they used the number plates on
the vehicle, no it could not have been that, they don't work.

I have checked, I am breaking no law.
Would you prefer the police become a law unto themselves and attempt to
bring false convictions, or work within the law, however many complaints
they may get>
