From: Doug on 7 Jun 2010 02:44 This is becoming routine. Why can't drivers stay off pavements for a change? "Man killed when car leaves road in Hendon One man was killed and another injured when a car veered off the road and collided with them. The incident happened at about 0200 BST on Sunday on Hendon Lane, in Finchley. A VW Golf left the road and hit the pedestrians, both in their 20s, before smashing into a wall and catching fire. The second man received minor injuries. The driver of the car then left the scene. Police have arrested a 20- year-old man and he is in custody at a north London police station. Police are tracing the dead man's next-of-kin and a post-mortem examination is due to take place. Officers are asking anyone who saw the incident to contact them." http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/10248756.stm -- UK Radical Campaigns. http://www.zing.icom43.net A driving licence is a licence to kill.

Yeah, yeah, yeah! We should all move around on bicycles, electric bikes and mobility scooters, even though even those sometimes kill people. In view of the time of day and the fact that the driver ran away, this was probably a drink driving or stolen car incident. What were the pedestrians doing out at 2 o'clock in the morning?
