I'm afraid the reason is you are much closer to America than to
Europe. Not geographically, of course.

I'm trying to do my share here, but hanging in the hammock is my best
safe option so far. I save about 100w compared to a TV plus I turn off
the A/C. They are getting my banana, so to speak. ;)
