: Similar to developing automatic braking in vehicles, someone is doing it for

I worked with a bloke that used to work in a kitchen manufacturers in Sydney. One of the blokes
there hates his boss with a passion. This bloke was almost broke after his wife left him not that
long before and he was about to lose his house.
While at work at a band saw he purposefully got into an argument with his boss at the saw and
infront of the bosses eyes he rammed his ring finger through the running band saw taking half of it
off. He lost half his finger but gained the $10k for a workplace injury (Aparently he mustve done
his homework as it worked out close to $5k per finger section).
It was contested by the boss but as everyone knew that the boss hated him his testimony was thrown
out and the bloke got his payout.

Now, true or not, thats one pretty fucked up way to earn 10 large!

I'd pay more than $10k for good fingers, but I guess if I had nothing
left I might give up a pinky.
