It has it's good days and they do outweigh the bad. The problem is that
when it's bad, it's always something out of your control and unlike a
regular job, you can't just clock off at 5pm and go home.

I can't see why the hell anyone would subject themselves to the
regimented prison sentence that is office based work.

Rather like my job; customers don't tend to think of the 4hr drive home when
you finish.....

Cos you can clock off at 5pm and go home :-)

[Of course, depending on the "office", bad things can there happen as
well, also out of your control, but when you're salaried you stay until
they're fixed.]

And you used to be so positive about trucking too...
