Of the companies we work with, or have been negotiating with, only
Tesco, Asda and Sainsburys are bigger.

We're bigger than Morrisons, Somerfield and any other high street food
retailer I haven't mentioned. Oh, and that's just the food retailers.

We operate in a fairly narrow field and have such an influence in our
home country that supermarkets don't open unless they have a deal with
us.

We also buy more products than certain UK high-street institutions do
when they approach manufacturers for supply deals.

We're one of the largest privately owned companies in our home country
and have a bigger turnover than the European arm of Coca Cola have.

Comparisons with petroleum companies is pushing things a tad, given the
very narrow margins on such products and the nature of the market.

Sounds like a good plan, I just wonder what the insurance situation is with
having a passenger while a learner is being taught?

This is normal practice in the Netherlands up to 3 pupils in the car
with the instructor, taking turns at the driving, commenting, observing
and critisising each others attempts. I believe for a lesser fee you
can go just as a passenger, to gain information. Also you cannot go on
to the road until you have passed a vehicle handling test, bit like the
part one bike test. That would be a good thing to adopt here.

I guess I was right when I said you'd not tell us what the brands are.
Guess it's top secret is it Steve?

The surprise isn't how often we make bad choices; the surprise is how
seldom they defeat us.
