I was a fair way away but we had about a 2 here at the time.

If there had bee a Tsunami the weekender would have copped it as it direct
line and Lae it's self could have had a wash down. Luckily I live on the 3rd
floor of a sturdy rock block building.

There's deep water right up to the shoreline so I don't know how that
effects things.

I'm off to Garoka today and will be getting some Coffee for my trip to Oz
today. Weipa's coffee is superb and has a flavour all of it's own. I'll get
a bulk bag of Garoka Coffee from Ian while I'm there. My brother where I
stay knows well that a blender being used as a coffee grinder makes an
excellent alarm clock on those chilly winter mornings when I'm off mackerel
fishing.
