Going from the A1 and turning down towards Colney's straightforward. The
worst section seems to be the quadrant between Colney and the 414 towards
St Albans/M1.

In practice it's very easy to negotiate as you only ever have a couple
of turns to make.

Eh?
It's almost stationary most of the time.
The only tricky part is M6 heading north turning off onto the M5 where
the traffic coming on from the last junction and going onto the M6 gets
in your way and the slip road effectively becomes L1 of the M5

You need to get the hang of pulling away sharply , but it's easy otherwise.
