Elise is a great car but you wouldn't want one as a daily drive.
My wife uses her much modified MX5 as a daily drive and loves every
km.

What's been done to it? Trying to talk my girlfriend into turboing hers with
no luck.

Will fit either a turbo or Cosworth blower this year.

Yep, not all that easy to get in an out of but they are considerably
quicker around a track than an MX5.

Interestingly at Wakefield, A lightly modified NC MX5 is only slightly
slower than an Elise driven by a similarly skilled driver.
