Digital Tyre Compressor
Are there any cheapish digital tyre inflators out there (<40) that come with crocodile clips, internal battery or main adapter instead of the cigarette lighter adapter? I wanted to pick one up to blow my tyres up as a lot of the air pumps at garages near me are not working at the moment. Unfortunately my cars c... 2 Feb 2010 19:04

Windscreen,Autoglass and Sticky Pads
I know there have been discussions in the past about the benefits of sticking interior mirrors to windscreens rather than using sticky pads but a few minutes ago I had my Mondeo windscreen replaced by Autoglass and before I left the fitter to the job I said " and you'll stick the mirror back on " and he said somet... 2 Feb 2010 19:03

citroen c3 gearbox
Hello, Has anyone ever worked on a C3 gearbox? It's beyond my capabilities I am sure! How much would it cost to have a garage look at it? Is gear work always an expensive thing? I've got a 54 plate diesel c3. It used to be that when the gear lever was in neutral it centred itself beneath 3rd/4th gear. Now when... 2 Feb 2010 19:04
VOSA inspector - what do they do?
Tim W wrote: There's been one down at Johns Cross roundabout on the A21, East Sussex several days over the last few weeks, on the southbound side. He doesn't have a van, so I expect there's one parked 1/2 mile further along the A21 and he radios ahead with descriptions to pull. But what's he likely... 16 Jan 2010 17:16
Car damaged by garage during service
naffer <timbrook99(a)hotmail.com> gurgled happily, sounding much like they were saying: The car was put in for regular service. The service included replacing glow-plugs. Garage says, "One of the glow-plugs sheered off when we were removing it. You can probably manage on the other three or would you ... 14 Jan 2010 04:43
Best car heater....to clear windscreen
My Astra 1.7cdti '04 takes over about 2 miles to get any real heat.......and 8 (?) miles to clear the screen. My Mrs Skoda Fabia 1.4 tdi '03 about the same. My old Citroen XZ 1.9d was better than either the newer cars for heat / screen clear . I seem to remember test driving a Daihatsu years ago and being s... 6 Feb 2010 08:36

Mondeo Washer Tubing Freezing
Tried my Mondeo washers the other day after filling up the bottle but very little came out the jets ...I then realised it was probably same thing as what had happened a couple of years ago so looking at the front bumper confirmed this ...fluid spewing on to the road ...the tubing had popped off the pump . Not a cl... 10 Jan 2010 22:59
