From: Gordon H on 7 Jul 2010 09:11 The Yew and Yewers programme on R4 today highlighted a number of cases where vehicles have been immobilised due to the lack of spare parts. The motor trade seems to have scraped through the recession, but some parts manufacturers have gone bust (allegedly). The worst case was a Landrover with steering lock frozen, stuck on the drive for 6 weeks, probably because they are low volume, and had not spread their source companies as the high volume manufacturers do. -- Gordon H Remove "invalid" to reply
