Close, but not quite.

I lob a bucket at the car.
You clean the car.

Could be. It's "Special Black Wax" and I was digging that out of my ears
after running my tractor with a PTO powered flail over the land on a dry
day.

Apparently you spread it on credit cards and it stops them interfering
with the quality of sound in your hifi.

There is no 'worse' about the finish. Waxes and sealants give a different
finish to a car - and to different colours. The wax he applied gave a very
pleasing finish to the car. The Zaino sealants gave a 'clearer' finish to the
paint.

You obviously think the Zaino finish is better than the wax ("more gloss and
depth"), therefore the wax is worse.

Of course it's going to be difficult to prove all this - you'd need to do
two bits with the different products at the same time, rathere than
remembering what it looked like in different light conditions several weeks
ago.

Then there's the question of durability of finish - could it be that the
Zaino gives a higher gloss for a shorter time, but the professional gave you
something which would last a bit longer?
