Hmm. That sounds suspiciously like "golden ears" audiophiles who claim to hear huge differences whenever they listen to expensive equipment. > Snake oil is not appropriate for something as visual as cleaning a car - the > evidence is in front of the eyes! That doesn't say much for the work done by that bloke whom you had down from Liverpool to wash your car for you, does it? Ian

According to you, it appears to simultaneously have exactly the same gloss and depth, and more gloss and depth. -- David Taylor

I choose cables based on the sound that comes out of speakers. Wire is wire they say, so don't waste money on 'snake oil'. I don't really care what is in the wire. For all I know my interconnects were pissed on by Madonna, but what I do know is they sound better than the interconnects that cost me a lot more, so I ditched the more expensive ones. >> Snake oil is not appropriate for something as visual as cleaning a car - the >> evidence is in front of the eyes! > > That doesn't say much for the work done by that bloke whom you had > down from Liverpool to wash your car for you, does it? Get your facts straight. The purpose of the visit was to machine polish the paint to remove surface scratching and swirls. I would have asked him to quit, if he had gone near my car with a machine polisher before he had washed the car. I was very pleased with the way the car looked, but I like cleaning my car and wanted to try a different product, and as It was my money and choice, I did so.
