We have had a similar rule here for many years but its purpose is to stop people parking cars for sale in prominent positions( often illegally parked) all over town making the place look like a car yard. > I've been told by a Council ranger that car dealers were worried that > unscrupulous people might be selling cars of poor quality to > unsuspecting buyers. When parked your car faces the main road. I only put it there on Sunday for the day as there are a lot of visitors to the area coming to the Caboolture Markets. But anyway I've put the car back to where I originally had it on private property on another main road As for the Car Dealers, lots in recent local papers again from dealers complaining that they are the only people you should trust when buying a car and they supported the signage laws............... Strangely enough it wasn't in the funny pages Kev
