Guess who makes the Toyota replacement glass?

The Pilkington (owned by CSR) glass factory in Geelong still operates
and supplies glass to Toyota.
It was bought out by the MH Group which owns the automotive plastics
factory in Melton where I used to pick up from and deliver to Toyota.

Obwiens buy their glass from the same suppliers as

Most likely and I doubt the quality is a lot different from the OE
glass, there used to be a big difference in the quality of aftermarket
compared to OE glass but that doesn't seem to be the case any more.

CSR bought Pilkington in 2007 and now its owned by the MH Group with
lots of help from Toyota and the Vic and Fed Govts.
BTW my great grandfather worked for Pilkington in the UK and we still
have his gold watch which he received on retirement in 1916.
The inscription says he was a "Motor Wagon Foreman".

Dunno about Australian built Toyotas but this one has "Made in Japan" on
it since the Prado is an Imported vehicle
