It isn't *necessary* to get a discount for cash in order to profit from
avoiding/evading the payment of VAT by paying "cash, no questions asked".
Unpaid VAT is not a discount.

Not actually the issue (and I credit you for now having answered the
question), but given the above, why not? It isn't necessary to get a discount
to benefit from VAT evasion.

We are actually constructing a world scale bioethanol plant at our
site so that when you fill up your car, some of the fuel will come
from wheat and not oil.

I thought most pump unleaded was pretty damn close to the maximum (5%)
bio component allowed under BS EN 228 already? Likewise with whatever the
standard is for ULSDiesel?
