I tried wedging it out with a flat blade but that pushed it further out of
view!

Any ideas on how to get it out ?

U got a manual..does the tube come off ..Cd u just leave it and let it
be chewed up in the engine

have you got one of those spring gripper things ? I find that these
are pretty much required when working on my cars, what with me being
so clumsy and dropping things all the time !
