Does anyone have any idea on what sort of difference in insurance premium
you might face after a "Failing to stop following an accident" and "failing
to report..." conviction?
The person in question got a 500 quid fine plus 5 points and I have a
sneaking suspicion it will cost them far more over the next few years in
raised premiums.

Far more effort than I can be bothered to make, and I also don't want to use
any real details as there's always the chance that a non-existent conviction
would end up on an insurers database somewhere
