Thanks Steve. I'll give them a yell in the morning. -- Regards, Noddy.

Ahh, the mighty H20. As found also in Nissan Cedrics and Urvans. :) As it happens, the OHC engine (U20) in the Datsun 2000 Sports Roadster is essentially an OHC version of the H20 - in fact, there's a jack shaft on the U20 that runs along the side (where the original cam used to be on the H) to drive the oil pump. There's some other differences as well - forged crank, bigger oil galleries and pump, blah blah, but essentially the same family. Which leads to lots of ribbing from mates in the know asking how my "forklift engine" is going. :) Cheers, Steve

In fact it hardly seemed like it was burning any oil at all. I must pull the dipstick out and check it next time, as it's probably empty :) -- Regards, Noddy.
