The Republicans of today are nothing like the Civil War Republicans. There's a reason that minorities do not vote for the GOP and that is because the GOP has betrayed its roots and made it acceptable for Republicans to be racists and to be publicly indifferent to the needs of the elderly, the sick and the poor. |
