Which would be visible, no?

Definately a fuckwit like the BP and other petrol tanker racing drivers who scream down Inchyra Road in Grangemouth (40 limit) at well over 50mph. Nkosi

I reckon, and this is only a guess, that about the same as required for a PITT manouvre the US Police do. It is quite easy to hit something in a wgon and not even notice, even moreso with the fucked up roads we have in this country. However I'd reckon that at the front end, even if you didn't feel the shunt you would need to be deaf and devoid of all sense of smell not to hear the noise or smell the burning rubber. As for the waving and hooting, yeah I think I'd have got the message something was wrong quite quickly - I once had a rear door come unfastened and it only took one car passing, pulling in front and putting his hazards on as he did to get "I think I should pull over and have a look around to see whats wrong". However I wonder how many were like those in the video and spent more time filming it than waving their arms etc, although I doubt it was everyone. Thankfully, its not a common event. I have never seen it in real life and, as of today, only know about two events. -- Conor I'm not prejudiced. I hate everyone equally.

Yep, I've attracted the attention of truckers to problems - usually no trailer lights at all - before now, with little difficulty. |
