I've done it before on the A1 near Newcastle. It's a struggle to see anyone below a certain angle from the windscreen because the dashboard obstructs the line of sight. Why don't you ask just HOW the car came to be there? McK.

You can't see anything below 4ft high within 4ft of the windscreen and you'd not feel any resistance either. It actually happened to a lorry driving colleague of mine at Parceline. Was pushed half a mile up the A1 just south of Doncaster. All you need to do is either catch the rear corner of a car as you change lanes or have some dumbarse carve you up just a bit too much. -- Conor I'm not prejudiced. I hate everyone equally.

Why don't you ask > just HOW the car came to be there? Because the answer is obvious. Somebody fucked up. It's also irrelevant to the detail that the wagon is still tonking along oblivious of the car's presence. I can just about visualise the line-of- sight precluding it being seen once it's there - but what kind of angle of impact would get it there without impinging on that line of sight at all? How would the impact not be felt? What about other road users pointing and waving and hooting?
