What part of "the Falcon has many problems and is unreliable" causes you the
most difficulty?

> Does the Commodore break less than the Falcon?

In a nutshell, yes.

The Commodore isn't without it's faults (no car is), but generally the list
of common complaints for the VE isn't anywhere near as bad as it is for the
Falcon.

Oddly enough, that's like saying dogshit on toast is cheaper than caviar on
toast. I'm not a huge fan of caviar, but I'd *far* sooner eat it than save
myself a few bucks by eating dogshit.

Mmm..no.... Volvos were always relatively large sedans, but the longer and
more capacious wagons sold in shedloads because they hold more and bulkier
stuff. A properly screwed together, consistently handlings (level and
compliant regardless of load), well trimmed, well equipped, moderately
aspirational and vaguely exciting Falcon wagon of the present size and
wheelbase would have *no* competitors internationally, nevermind at home,
at virtually any price.

Considering the history and size of the engine, the thing still maintains
some sort of consumption parity with its competition and it's probably
better on gas than any of it.

It's all rather sad really; but there's no-one else to blame!

In a little Lancashire village near my Dad's place, there lives a Barbie
pink one, about three extra window sections long, which is out on various
narrow windy roads nearly every day on a range of hire duties. I never
envied the drivers, espcially in Winter!

Yep, no competitors....Not required...

I welcome you to Crackerbox Palace.

I guess the taxi fleets will go rushing to Holden if their car is so much
more reliable.
