I dunno, but then who'd want an old Jag or Rolls-Royce?

I had a mate drive us years ago in his '34 Ford sedan with it's blown Hemi
engine. He pulled the plates out of the Lake pipes especially for the day,
and made sure everyone within a 5 mile radius heard the thing when he lit up
the tyres :)

I've no doubt they will, but it'll be *after* they've closed the gates on
the production plant for the last time when they're sitting around
scratching their heads wondering what went wrong,.

I had the chance to take a new diesel Sorento for a decent test drive today
(A client's car in for it's 1000k service) and was suitably impressed. The
only thing I could fault on it compared to my Kluger was the slightly lower
head clearance in the door frame when getting in to it though I made no
attempt to adjust the seat height so that may have sorted that issue out. I
was surprised how well the diesel went compared to my V6, especially off the
mark.

Yeah it shows that diesel engines have come along way especially in cars and
4 wheel drives. The smart move was let the Germans design the engine like
BMW they make sensational 6 cylinder petrol engines and the same goes with
their 6 cylinder diesel engines (which are made by Steyr).
The mrs tells me the Sante Fe feels like it has better performance than the
Territory it replaced. And it certaily feels a much better built car too.
:-)

It our first diesel powered car we have owned too I feel slightly dirty
aboit that but then again I do drive trucks! :-p.
