Hi,
1999 Focus 1.8 petrol, 62,000 miles.


This has happened about 3 times now over the past several months. I am
going very slow in traffic, say 5 to 7 mph. I press the accelerator and
nothing happens. Couple of seconds later everything is fine.
The engine does not try and stall, or cough, misfire, or anything like that,
it just feels like the accelerator pedal is temporarily totally
disconnected. No other problems at all.

What might cause this? TPS?
