Today I'm not teasing anyone with bananas, but demanding answers from
those who run the world and allow this food insecurity to grow worse
as some corporations profit from it in a big way...

"Families from Pakistan to Argentina to Congo are being battered by
surging food prices that are dragging more people into poverty,
fueling political tensions and forcing some to give up eating meat,
fruit and even tomatoes.

Scraping to afford the next meal is still a grim daily reality in the
developing world even though the global food crisis that dominated
headlines in 2008 quickly faded in the U.S. and other rich countries."

Cats are professional killers. I just found a dead rat on my path,
next to the cats.

Actually, I think they enjoy torture.

Could they be a solution for hunger in the Third World? ;)

(I love birdies, who stay away because of the cats, except that
there's a cat that I like. He's really cool, and I think he will be
part of the revolution. Not a fat cat.)

the good news is; people are eating less meat.
Meat is dead meat.

I think we will be eating less meat between here and full blown
cannibalism.

No one is starving because some Americans are fat.
Where people are starving it's because their own governments steal from them.
If we continue on the road to socialism, we'll be that kind of country.
Which will be no surprise to the leaders of the "green" movement; it was their
plan for us all along.
Read "Rules for Radicals". "President" Soetoro has.
