The adapter plates etc are $1900. the wireing up and plumbing in is around $2000, exhaust $600, new Rad $340. As far as a new lower km 2nd hand 3VZe $2800 plus my time to fit. I would dearly love to fit a V8 but the cars just that good to start with. If it was a 1997 or something then I probably would. I have to be realistic here. I may even just fix it with a gasket set and on sell the car for what its worth. Put that towards a newer 4x4 that hasnt got high kms. EG: I get $5k for mine save the $5 spend and add that to the coffers. thats gotta get my a 1/2 decent 4x4. Im happy enough to cut the loses now. With all the forums etc I couldnt find more than one person that could provide a price it cost them personally. $4k was the best but he has now advised that he couldnt do it for that much. Maybe someone could with a few contacts and a lot of time. Ive neither at the moment. Mind you, should the Lotto numbers come up next week its off to the engineer with a cheque for $12K. Then off to the panel shop for a tart up. Suspension shop trim shop and tyre shop...... But for now reality kicks in and I have to make the decision to do whats best. Now just gotta wait for the Ebay gasket set to arrive from the UK. Toyota Genuine gasket set $755, Supercheap $545, Autobahn $Not stocked, Repco $564, Ebay $123. Lets hope that its not all mangled and farked when it gets here eh. Unless someone can tell me they can fit a 1UZ-E For under $6k then this is the path that I will have to take. Damn it!

A 1995 model or there abouts would be nice. Swap all the dodgy bits over. Wreck it and try make it a cheaper job. Again the time issue sucks a bit though. I do have time to slowely wreck a car though. Leav it in the garage for a while and EBay the bits off. Only issue is that it needs to be the 4runner as the Camry 3ZV-e in that has different heads due to the Front wheel drive. You have a site link for Pickles?
