Whatever mate, I'm not going to play your silly little pedants game. Point
is that 200 years ago travelling long distance was dangerous and potentially
fatal. Not to mention it taking a long time. If aircraft didn't exist today
but we still had cars and trains then most people would probably never venture
further than central europe or spain. They certainly wouldn't be going to
australia or new zealand or even the USA unless they were planning to take a
number of months off work.
