You might want to check that your PC valve isn't blocked or stuck, as while front pulley seals can go at random they can be helped along quite quickly by a pcv that's not doing it's job. -- Regards, Noddy.

Reason is the oil is flung off the pulley in tiny rivulets. Jason

In NSW at least, all wty items (so fit for puropose stuff; not wear and tear items) that are notified within the warranty period remain wty items until they are fixed. We had a car some years ago with a 3mth/5000Km wty that was finally signed off from "backwards and forwards to the dealer land" after five and a half months and nearly 10,000Kms. From memory, the off road time got added to the wty period, but that may have been a goodwill issue. Cheers -- Posted at www.usenet.com.au

Front crankshaft seal leaking 2. Sump leaking from seal 3. Gearbox leak onto exhaust. 4. Diff now is leaking as well. 5. still not starting properly in the mornings. Although I did discover that I could remove the battery connections without a spanner and have now cleaned and tightened them up. It may make a difference. I also gave them a letter outlining the faults along with photographic evidence and demanding that they respond in writing outlining the repairs to be undertaken and the warranty on those repairs as is required by law in Qld. Manager was not happy to see me.....
