**If you were over 2 Metres tall, I might believe you. I have a mate who is
192cm tall and has no problems with his Prius. In fact, I spent some time in
the US with him. He had a terrible time finding a car he could comfortably
fit into. He certainly was unable to fit into the T-Bird I was driving. He
ended hiring some POS FWD US built thing. A Buick, I think. Anyhoo, the
Prius is simply not a problem for him. Unless you have some weird body
shape, then it will be no problem for you either. Unless you are obscenely
fat, of course.

Whether they fit into the things or not is irrelevant. The Prius, and other
hybrids, make as much economic sense as gold inlaid toilet paper.

Of course not. If it were, you'd never hear of such a ridiculous plan being
mentioned :)

They sure are.

It's the old "wave a bunch of public money under the pleb's noses and buy
some votes".

I have no questions that I am fat, however the issue with the Prius is
one of design as I stated. I am 60cm across the shoulders and 80cm's
from hip to knee. The difficulty is in the fact that even with the seat
fully back my knees hit the dashboard. I have the same problems in an
aircraft as most seats are around 70cms apart which is not enough. With
broad shoulders I find that the seats are not wide enough to support my
shoulders and I impinge on the shoulder room of other occupants whether
it be a car or the aeroplane. The prius being a smaller car, is just not
suitable for me to use.

No idea, but why would you assume it's a V8? More likely a six I imagine.
