Sure you are, you are forced to pay taxes so it can be given to someone else
who may need it even less than you do!

Two things
How many people who own a pre 95 car would be in a position to buy a new
car? even with $2000 extra
And
How does trading in their old car take it off the road??
is there a directive that the traded cars on this scheme be scrapped by
the dealer? and does there have to be confirmation that it is destroyed?
or is it listed on the write or register to never be registered on road
and the engine number not used again?

**I'm pretty certain (not 100% though) that I spied a 'V8' badge on the
vehicle.

And we've all seen how well schemes like *that* have worked so far,
haven't we?
