Neither Gillard or Abbott fit the description of "fat arsed", from what
I've seen Abbott seems to be a fitness nut, I've not seen Gillard in
person but she doesn't look fat on TV.

Are you an American?
What's with this "gas guzzling" bullshit.
Gas means LPG which is economical and cheap.

None of them take public transport on a regular

Why, they are no different from the majority of the population who have
families.
Its as silly as saying that the family down the road shouldn't be
allowed to drive a big Commodore or Falcon.
The reason they have Falcons/Terrys and Commodores is they are locally
made and pollies should be supporting the local car industry.
They could get a hybrid Camry but despite the hype they aren't all that
economical.

You seem to have missed the point again Nods. Please read more concisely in
future and it might save me correcting you all the time. ; )

The point Marts was making was that driving around the City is totally
different than the highway, thus the Prius would do the job, but on the
highway at highway speeds and other traffic a larger car would be and is
much better. Then again though, you Melbournians are much different to the
rest of the country and mixing a NZ'der in the mix and it's understandable
why you get so confused. : )

AFAIK, it shares the Civic's suspension, so being a bit lighter, it
bounces more than it probably should. Travelling everywhere with 2 or 3
passengers could cure that I suppose!

Yep...Ignorant you are.

Lets see now...If you drive from Sydney to Melbourne regularly, would
you consider that you 'need' a Commodore sized car or a Kia Picanto?
