Did your mother never mention anything along the lines of "two wrongs don't
make a right"?

No matter WHAT speed you're doing, on roads with multiple lanes, you stay
left unless overtaking. If you wish to change lane into a lane to your
right, you make sure that it is clear to do so. Once you've overtaken, you
move back to the left again as soon as you can safely do so.

It's as simple as that.

'Post'? 'Post' already had a distinct meaning long before it referred to
messages, electronic orotherwise.

He is if he's not overtaking.

It was claimed, yet the bloke towing a trailer tent STILL managed to pass
on the left...?

B'sides, haven't we moved from there into more general MLOC 69.5mph-and-
none-shall-pass vigilante territory?

It meant a fixed thing or place. Nothing to do with messages. Language is
like that. Meanings get attached, removed, transferred, amended....
