I've never seen a calibrated speedo in a lorry. I've seen a tachograph,
but that's a differnent kettle of fish. If you think they're as accurate
as a police speedo, think again..!

For the limited number of times I need to send the  character, Alt-156
works ok for me.

That's precisely why I did it. I was brought up on mainframes and dumb
terminals, all of which used the US layout.
