What's changing is the population density for a start.

(many people embraced multiculturalism as the solution to racism, many
of them subsequently cannot see that criticism of multiculturalism
isn't equal to racism and jump to the conclusion that any criticism of
multiculturalism will come only from right leaning people).

and the subcontinent.

Seems to be changing no more rapidly than the world as a whole.

I'm happy with almost anybody coming here in sensible numbers and
integrating.

England is the most densely populated country in europe and the 3rd most
densely populated in the world. Explain to us why making it even more
crowded is a good thing?

In fact I'd love to understand the psychology of people who want more
immigrants to come here. Is it some sort of subconcious self hate? Or perhaps
just another way of giving the finger to mummy and daddy with their perceived
parochial middle english views in a kind of eternal teenage cutting off nose
to spite face scenario?
