True, but I doubt anybody would suggest "pure" PR, its a disaster in
Israel I read the other day. (brings in the nutters and makes peace
impossible - so they said)

So now you're on some bodged half-and-half. Do they _ever_ work?

EVERY system has advantages and disadvantages. It's just a matter of
which set you prefer.

For me, the direct 1:1 constituency:mp link is a very good thing and
pretty bloody hard to ignore.

But you just said that nobody was suggesting that, since it was a real
PITA in Israel.
