Oh no, that's all we need - the cycling vegan nutters have got a foot

Not all "greens" are that, but you will probably see more greens in
the mid term because it looks as if the Lib Dems will get a promise of
PR in return for support, this means we will join governance as
practiced in most European countries with coalition governments and
small parties playing some part. Association of British Drivers
candidate stand up please.

Just what we need - the sort of secure stable government enjoyed by the likes
if Italy.

Of course the Liberal Teapots arn't the only ones who'd love PR. I'm sure the
BNP and similar far right or left groups will be jumping with joy if it
happens.

Coalitions are common in Europe, as in Germany. Greece however has a
majority government.......

The only people really against it are UK conservatives, because
conservatives by nature hate change. What we do not want is a "Party
list" system where you cannot get the "Portillo moment". It was bad
enough "Mandy" popping up again every ten minutes after being chucked
out without voting somebody out and then finding they are elected on
"losing" votes from elsewhere.
But yes, you will get the small nutty parties having some
representation, it said to be a problem in Israel "pure" PR system.
You need a threshold percentage, say 10%.

Good, sooner the better, either we should have a democracy or we
don't, at the moment we don't.
