Uber Nerd Facts.

The engine designation was V64V, as in V6 4 Valve. It came in International
and Clubmans derivatives.
The very first develpment versions were Rover V8s with a couple of cylinders
lopped off.

I reallllly need to get out more.

I knew all this stuff.

I just didn't want to look like a nerd.

I want call it a 'Nerd Fact' but I'm not entirely sure I'm right, but wasn't
there also RWD versions designated 6R2?

Ok, let's take it to the next level - what's above Nerd ?

Anyway....

Seeing as V64V engines were horrifically expensive to fix, and Rover V8s
weren't, it became quite popular to fit a Rover V8 onto a Hewland FG
transaxle, giving a 2wd 6R4.
Other engines also found their way in there.

That's about it really.
