I forgot, because of the LPG rebate, would it be worth while
converting it?

The tank would have to go under the front boot, as the engine is in
the rear boot!

Injection or std. LPG system?

Mate I was given one of these things many years back and honestly
was one of the worst cars I ever had
iF you still have one it is probably worth heaps now as I reckon most
owners would have taken them ( willingly) to sims metals :-)

Reckon the saame folks had a hand in certain versions of the dolomite
and renault fair go ( shudder)

But the Imp to be fair was ages ahead of its time good idea some
things to like about them
but at the time was just plain horrible traded it in on a beat up
Gordini R8 and got it all schmicked up
by decent rally mechanic and with all the abarth gear truly loved
it ( was a third car for special wekends)

Should never have traded that either :( on a bloody Audi 5 cyl -
nicknamed the yellow tissue box
then guys out the back of double bay fitted a rymec (sp ? ) tubo
charger tuned it into a half fun car for its day .

Given that I used to in those days go to Forbes & Condo from sydney
almost every week end
used to hammer the vehicles pretty hard

what state are you in i think the sydney folks have a pretty dedicated
Imp club even these days
Ran into a bloke in Perth who Collects and restores stags and truimph
sports cars who also had an imp that I new when in sydney
the other week and he mentioned a lot of the eccentrics are older but
many still dedicated eccentrics .

Cheers

Does ANY one really like these things ?

Even the eccentrics that endure them (must be a bunch of masochists )
are loath to admit they actually operate the dreadful things
