But, if the head is removable, it's possible there will be a problem with the cylinder/head interface. Unlikely, but possible, especially if the assembler isn't careful to keep it all very clean. Actually, it's a very good system for air-cooled engines. I saw a 2litre VW with no gaskets, the earlier ones had copper rings on the cylinder top spigot. Jordan
