When I hired a people-carrier in Fuerteventura last month from a local
rental company, they charged nothing extra to include my son as a driver -
and gave us a child seat free of charge. IME, the smaller local companies
often give a much better service at a much lower price.

Which confirms my claim that the big companies - Hertz, Avis, are the most
expensive - and the best price was obtained from Holiday Autos, which was
the firm I recommended in my first post on the thread.

See - if you want good advice and accurate information - you know who to
ask...
