Tailgating is dangerous and the best thing you can do is to minimise
the risk to yourself by leaving a larger gap in front of you and also
allowing the tailgater get past as soon as possible when convenient.

I have no sympathy for people who tailgate but pissing them off is
only going to make an already dangerous situation even more dangerous.
